Villa Danica is neatly nestled between the gorgeous hills of Tribunj and the Adriatic Sea. Its modern style, incredible facilities and private garden make it the perfect place enjoy all that Croatia has to offer. Able to sleep ten guests and boasting a beautiful sweeping view of the coast and surrounding islands, you won’t want to ever leave!
Upon entering the villa, you are immediately welcomed into the large open plan kitchen and dining space. The stylish and modern kitchen has everything you may need to create anything from local recipes to old family favourites. Featuring an elegant central island, there is ample workspace for all the family to get involved. The kitchen opens onto the dining area where a large dining table for ten provides the perfect setting for relaxed group meals. Moving down the villa, the generous living space boasts large and comfortable sofas that invite you to relax and put your feet up after a busy day of sight-seeing. There is even a cosy reading corned tucked under the elegant staircase, ideal to catch a moment of peace and enjoy your novel. Finally, the ground floor also houses a spacious double bedroom and detached bathroom.
On the first floor are the remaining three bedrooms. Each is finished to a very high standard, with built in wardrobes and televisions, so there is no need to pack light! All three bedrooms also feature exceptional sea views with patio access onto the large balcony, where you can really appreciate the beautiful sunsets. The master bedroom stands above the rest with its large ensuite and access to the outdoor terrace. Here you will find the hot tub, the ideal spot to really embrace the famous creation red rooftops and incredible view of the Adriatic Sea.
Outside Villa Danica keeps providing more luxury, moving through the living room patio doors you are led towards another large dining table under the veranda, ideal for alfresco dining. From here you can jump straight into the private pool or perhaps rest on one of the stylish sun loungers under the parasol. At the other end of the villa a luscious green lawn provides a safe space for children to play in, whilst remaining in view. For added privacy the villa is surrounded with large leafy shrubs and traditional stone walls, ensuring you can enjoy your holiday in real peace.
Villa Danica is located in the small quiet harbour town of Tribunj, the area is well known for its fresh fish and its traditional narrow streets, giving you a real Croatian experience. With fantastic access to the sea, it is ideal for swimming in the gentle harbour or watching the fisherman return from their catches. There are plenty of taverns and restaurants for both afternoon and evening meals, a great opportunity to try some of local delicacies. There also shops within walking distance to stock the cupboards for some home cooking.
A short 4km west of the villa lies Vodice, a larger and more traditional town. Vodice is an excellent place to view authentic Adriatic churches and cafes. However, being more renowned for its tourism there is also opportunities to try a huge array of water sports, including; Scuba diving, kayaking and beach volleyball. You will also find beautiful sand beaches to enjoy the reliable weather in. Vodice is also home the Hacienda, a very popular night club, should you be in the mood for some dancing!
A short drive further down the coastline will lead you to Šibenik. The oldest of the Adriatic cities, here you can find old fortresses, beautiful churches and a wonderful medieval character. Be sure to wander through the winding streets and absorb the bustle of the old town.
A 30-minute drive away from Villa Danica is the Krka national park, the national park is a world-famous site and is a must see for anyone visiting the region! Famed for its UNESCO wold heritage site, the stunning Skradinski waterfalls. You can access the falls by foot, bike or even taking a boat from Skradin. Be sure you take you swim wear as you can escape the heat of the day by enjoying a swim around the falls. Once you have takin a dip, you can take another boat trip from Skradin to the magical island monastery of Visovac. The monastery lies hidden behind a beautiful green facade of trees and is surrounded by step hills of the flooded valley. It is a truly remarkable place. Be sure to check the boat schedules as they do vary through the year.
