Apartment Lou Lou is set back from the road in a quiet yet central spot, very close to the Pleney cable car giving easy access to the Morzine/Les Gets slopes which offers a great skiing experience for beginners and low intermediates and is linked by free shuttle to the Super Morzine cable car great for expert skiers who relish a challenge.

Whilst being known as a superb Ski and snowboarding resort in the cold winter months, Morzine is a popular destination any time of year and is one of the top spots in Europe for mountain biking. Morzine has fabulous scenery and stunning landscapes and many activities available outside the snow season include trekking, horse riding, White water rafting and golf.

Morzine has a lively après ski scene. You are only a short walk or ski from many excellent bars and restaurants that cater for every taste and there are plenty of cute shops for souvenirs and gifts to remind you of your alpine adventure.

Apartment Lou Lou offers an authentic slice of Alpine full or character, lots of warm and colourful soft furnishing which embraces local style. The compact semi open kitchen area is functional and well-equipped with everything you need to whip up tasty treats. Upstairs the Alpine flavour is evident in the separate double bedroom. The Mezzanine level offers extra sleeping space and houses a comfy double bed. The ‘alcove’ bed area contains a bunk bed that should sleep two little ones comfortably and is a delightful quirky space.

The apartment offers a modern bathroom with a shower and sink and a separate WC. There is also a parking space on the premises for the guests to use. 

Apartment Lou Lou is in a prime central location in the beautiful village of Morzine, close to the Pleney slopes and lifts with easy access to the entire ski area.

Morzine is at the heart of The Portes du Soleil ski area, one of the world’s largest and most picturesque ski regions. Made up of 12 resorts that straddle France and Switzerland between Mont-Blanc and Lake Geneva, there are over 600km of slopes that provide a fabulous variety of runs. With all sorts of winter sports available, including snowshoeing, snowmobiling or husky-dog sledging, Morzine is a great option for families and larger groups.

Morzine has three main lift stations and Apartment Lou Lou is very near to the Pleney lift, popular with beginners and low intermediate skiers because of the lovely long blue runs and open reds which return to the village or provide access across to Les Gets, which is popular with families with children. On the other side of the town is Super Morzine gondola which gives access to Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes Du Soleil and offers the highest skiing in the area. The Nyon lift is located at the valley's North end and accesses the Nyon-Chamossiere Sector at 2010m and is ideal for thrill seekers. There are two runs as well as some challenging off-piste options.

The après ski scene in Morzine is lively and lots of fun and Bar Tremplin is a Morzine institution at the foot of the slopes with DJs spinning classics from 4pm, a large sun terrace and a great vibe. For a small mountain town Morzine really packs a punch with its choice of restaurants. From traditional fairy light adorned wooden chalets offering generous traditional feasts to upmarket fine dining there is a marvellous choice for every taste and budget. There are wonderful mountainside restaurants with terraces where you can enjoy long lazy lunches or lively fun-filled evenings and La Folie Douce in Avoriaz has easy access on skies or on foot and offers excellent après ski time with fine dining and the ultimate disco party.

Morzine is a year round resort offering fabulous scenery, and stunning landscapes, and in warmer months, there are many trekking options alongside dedicated mountain biking trails considered by many as some of the best in the world. Lake fishing is available at nearby lakes Lac Mines d’Or and Lac Montriond, as well as golf at the Morzine-Avoriaz & Les Gets golf courses.
