Have a morning coffee in one of the pavement cafes or head to the 16th century main square for a lovely lunch on a restaurant terrace. Every Tuesday and Friday morning there is a lively Provençal market and if you are lucky enough to be staying on the first Sunday of the month then don’t miss the characterful brocante that takes place in the main square.

Dine in a lovely restaurant with tables set out on the pavement in the shade of the old houses or on one of the terraces of the main square. Don’t miss the delightful Provençal market on a Friday and Tuesday morning as well as an atmospheric brocante on the first Sunday of the month.
Surrounding the village is lovely countryside ideal for hiking, cycling and horse-riding. There is an especially wonderful hike between Valbonne and Biot, following the river that links the two beautiful villages.
Golf-lovers will be impressed by the proximity of many excellent courses such as the famous Royal Mougins (12km) only 25 minutes away and other brilliant courses even nearer such as Golf Opio Valbonne within a five-minute drive.
The idyllic town of Grasse (10km) is just twenty minutes away, an amazing place which is famous for its perfume heritage. The setting is stunning, surrounded by lavender fields, vineyards and olive groves so typical of this region. Other archetypal villages to discover include Opio (6km), Mougins (8km) and Biot (10km).
