Villa Aspa is a contemporary villa located in the village of Havgas near Elounda, offering views towards the sea and Spinalonga Island. Once a small fishing village, Elounda has developed into a relaxed resort area while maintaining a traditional feel. The waterfront is lined with tavernas, cafés, and small shops, and the calm waters of the bay make it a popular spot for swimming and boat trips. The area is also known for its views across to the nearby island of Spinalonga.
Elounda provides convenient access to several attractions in eastern Crete. The nearby town of Agios Nikolaos offers additional restaurants, shops, and a picturesque harbour centred around Lake Voulismeni. Visitors can also take boat excursions from Elounda to Spinalonga, a historic island known for its Venetian fortifications and later history as a leper colony. With its coastal setting and easy access to nearby towns and sites, Elounda is a convenient base for exploring this part of Crete.
