Overlooking the Ionian Sea on Corfu’s east coast, Villa Jacaranda Blue is a four-bedroom retreat for up to ten guests, just two kilometres from Benitses and within easy reach of Corfu Town and the airport. Surrounded by olive and citrus trees, the villa enjoys a privileged setting between mountains and sea.

The villa is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor, a welcoming living area with fireplace opens onto the terrace, alongside a fully equipped kitchen, indoor dining space, bathroom, and two bedrooms: one king and one twin. Upstairs, the entrance level features a second living room with piano and television, leading to a sea-view terrace. The principal bedroom offers a private terrace, dressing area and en suite bathroom, while a further twin bedroom and family bathroom complete the layout. Additional sleeping space for two guests is available in the living area. Air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and private parking ensure a comfortable stay.

Outdoor living takes centre stage across a generous three hundred square metre terrace, complete with shaded dining area, large barbecue and sun loungers. Steps lead down to a fifty square metre infinity pool, perfectly positioned for sweeping coastal views. Fragrant gardens dotted with hammocks and seating create peaceful corners for relaxation throughout the day.

On the eastern coast of the ever-popular island of Corfu, the village of Benitses is known for its pretty harbour and mountain backdrop. The marina area forms the heart of the village’s visitor-friendly nightlife, with a good selection of bars and tavernas nearby. While a large proportion of the local population works in tourism, the atmosphere is now more relaxed than it was in years past. You will find everything you are likely to need, from restaurants and cafés to car hire and gift shops.

The village’s proximity to the island’s capital and airport is another reason for its popularity. The journey along the coast takes around twenty minutes. There are numerous beaches in the surrounding area, and the coastal road offers scenic sea views, making them easy to explore. Another notable landmark is the grand Achilleion, built as a summer palace for Empress Elisabeth of Austria and as architecturally impressive as you might expect.

Corfu Town itself is a little further north and boasts several notable sights, including the Royal Palace, now home to the Museum of Asian Art, and two impressive fortresses, the Old and the New, both dating back to the sixteenth century. Climbing to the top of either rewards you with spectacular views. Just outside the town lies Mon Repos, birthplace of the Duke of Edinburgh.

One of the greatest pleasures of Corfu Town is a stroll along the Esplanade. Pause in the spacious Spianada park, where many public gatherings take place, or relax at one of the Liston cafés overlooking the manicured lawns.
