Just like stepping into a fairytale book, it has clearly been restored and furnished with a lot of care and attention to detail. Check in was easy and the whole place was very clean. Steven was a welcoming and helpful host and we very much enjoyed the crisps and wine he left as a welcoming gift. Lovely to be able to bring our dog with us and the garden was secure and very pretty. There is very little phone signal at the cottage and no wifi so possibly it would have been nice to have a little more information in the cottage about the nearest village and things to do in the local area and googling anything from ‘home’ was a bit tricky, nevertheless we managed and the lack of connectivity does help you to switch off and relax! Would recommend to anyone looking for a holiday home with character - we loved it and hope to return.
