The listing really doesn't do it justice - the grounds are beautiful, there IS wifi and there could be more detail about the layout and facilities. The house is utterly spotless and the owner lives next door and couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommended!

In a quiet and attractive rural spot, a 15 min walk or short drive to the pleasant village of Fethard, which has a well stocked 7-11 type small supermarket, an great traditional pub, a gastronomic restaurant and two cafes and a couple of takeaways. Well situated to visit this lovely part of Ireland. The owner, Aidan, lives adjacent and is on hand if any problem arises and is a friendly man, always up for an interesting chat. The outside area is a lovely spot to have breakfast or an early evening drink, weather permitting. Recommended.

The kitchen was well equipped and matching crockery not like some places we have stayed. Myself I thought the bed was not very comfy, but the bed my sister had was fine, There is an issue with the water pressure, but that could be the area (one shower at a time) It would be lovely and cosy in the winter with the wood burner going. It was lovely chatting with Aiden who was most welcoming.
