Maura any Tony are lovely hosts, unobtrusive yet available to help if asked; quite proud of their beautiful, awe inspiring house and gardens, rightly so. A perfect mix of old and new lovingly crafted to make the jaw drop, truly amazing place to enjoy, especially given the oft inclement weather, which sadly not even they can control! Location is brilliant too, very close to several beaches, woods, trails, shops and hospitality (of which Wexford always offers in abundance). You'd have to see this home to believe it, cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks for having us and we'll see you again soon, please God. R

It is a pet-friendly house but we still brought the dog cage with us to keep our dog at his own cage over nights. All things went well and the host was friendly at the beginning. However, a phone call from the host ruined everything on the morning we left. She called in and asked where was the big blanket. I told her that we did not find it an never used it. (I messaged her on the first night if she has an extra quilt we can use as we had two boys in one bedroom and they wanted separate quilt and she told us there was a big blanket in one of the wardrobe. We had 2 ppl in one bedroom and every room checked but did not find. The boys were fine and did not insist to get it nor bother the host again at late evening.) Then she seemed getting mad and said that we borrowed the big blanket and it was gone. I was asking her which bedroom it was at and if she was 100% sure she saw it when we checked-in (Maybe the last guest used it and put it in another area). After that, she was getting crazy and started shouting. I told her that we were just at the brunch place 2 mins drive back and we can talk face to face. She just said "don’t come back the blanket was not there". I asked her what the blanket looked like coz I wanted to ask the other friends who ever seen it anywhere in the house, she just said it was an expensive blanket. I asked her if she had a picture, she was even worse like omg why should I have a picture of my blanket. I told her to calm down and what she wanted us to do coz the problem cannot be solved by shouting. Long to short, the message she passed to me sounded like we stole her blanket and she just did not want to listen to us. I hang up the call, we never seen it and never used it and we tried to let her calm down and re-think but she just did not trust us at all. I felt really bad by scolding by someone for something we did not do and a bit racist to us tbh. Eventually she texted me apology and she just found it in a different waredrobe. I messaged her back I did not accept her apology and it ruined my whole day. It was just ridiculous to all of us.
