With a magnificent coastal setting this wonderful village is perfectly placed for exploring all of the attractions in this popular part of Ireland, including 'The Kerry Way' - a popular, well-marked walking route. Less than two miles away is Derrynane, which offers facilities for an abundance of sea sports, Derrynane House and the National Park. The beautiful town of Kenmare is also very close by and can be reached in under an hour. With a fantastic variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, this is a great place for a day out. Nature lovers can enjoy a visit to Valentia Island, located in the north west corner of the Ring of Kerry. Valentia boasts stunning sea cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, as well as excellent walking and climbing routes.

The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The situation is wonderful with beautiful views of the sea and hills from the garden. There are excellent beaches within easy reach and a really nice pub with a pleasant garden in the village. John, the owner, is friendly and helpful and if you have any problems he will sort them out immediately.

Weather wasnât so kind to us but still able to enjoy the most amazing view in a very comfortable spacious property with a lovely garden and everything you could need provided. Lots to see and do around the Ring of Kerry and a good recommendation for a meal at the newly refurbished Derrynane Hotel. Thanks John, hope to see you again.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. House was well furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Large kitchen and lounge and a TV with digi box. Would definitely come here again!
