Killorglin 2.5 miles. This cosy cottage is on the outskirts of the town of Killorglin situated in the heart of County Kerry. An ideal location for families and friends wishing to explore this magical part of the world, Jack's Cottage is nestled within the owner's thriving farmland, which is inhabited by a loving pet goat and donkey. The cottage is all on the ground floor and from the front door you enter the sitting room with comfortable seating and a woodburner, in case the weather takes a turn for the worst. There is a well-equipped kitchen with dining table where you can sit and relax whilst enjoying a hearty Irish breakfast, again, with a woodburner. There are four bedrooms, three of which have double beds and the fourth has children's bunk beds, all with views over the countryside towards the mountains. The accommodation is complete with a family bathroom. Outside, there are private enclosed back and front gardens with furniture, all ready for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine whilst planning your next days activities. The town of Killorglin offers a variety of cafes, restaurants and pubs, along with great fishing possibilities both on the River Laune and at nearby Caragh Lake. Just eight miles from the cottage is the pretty fishing village of Glenbeigh, home to the stunning beach of Rossbeigh. There are many watersports in the area and you can take your choice of fishing, walking and cycling or if your prefer golf, some of the finest courses are in this part of the country. There are many places of interest with lots to do and see around the Ring of Kerry and the scenery is so spectacular it will take your break away.
