This detached cottage is sympathetically furnished in a traditional style. It is situated on a 5 acre organic hobby farm with large gardens and summer house
This charming country cottage is in an enviable location, just half a mile from the unique and land-locked Lough Ine and close to the pretty bustling port of Baltimore, with its excellent seafood restaurants, pubs and shops. A hotspot for sailing enthusiasts with a sailing school for the novices and deep sea fishing trips to Sherkin and Cape Clear Islands and Fastnet Rock.
Not only is the location excellent, the interiors of this two bedroom holiday cottage are pretty special too. Furnished in a traditional style with a cosy farmhouse style kitchen complete with wood burning stove and comfortable seating area. Accommodation is ideal for a couple looking to escape the rat race and switch off for a week or so. This pretty cottage is on a 5 acre hobby farm, complete with its own private access and a pretty garden with a summer house.
Nature lovers should visit the unique land-locked Lough Ine nature reserve. The lake stretches for 1 km. It’s actually a marine lake which is connected to the Atlantic by a tidal channel at Barloge Creek, a popular spot for diving and watersports. The whole area is perfect for enjoying the outdoors with kayaking, horse riding and golfing all available nearby.
