Recently had the pleasure of staying at Finnvale Castle for a corporate retreat and can not recommend it highly enough. It is incredibly comfortable for a large group despite being thoughtfully restored to maintain the historic elegance and charm. The grounds are stunning and offer a lot (including lessons on regenerative / Korean Natural Farming at their onsite farm) however, if in a moment of lunacy, you want to leave the property it’s a short drive into the city. The staff is truly wonderful and do an incredible job keeping the snacks and caffeine flowing after late nights of whiskey by the fire, stargazing, or playing billiards (on a historic table!).

Just returned from Ireland with a family of 16 plus 3 toddlers. The experience was beyond amazing! Orla and her staff were there to attend to our every need. We shopped in Macroom and cooked our own meals in their gourmet kitchen. There are 8 equally gorgeous bedrooms, all en-suite, a gigantic kitchen, dining room, family space with a gigantic fireplace. The grounds have original cottage-like outbuildings with a river running through the front of the property. The kids loved the Bell which we all couldn’t resist ringing. In the evening, cows meandered to the front of the property, mooing contentedly as we watched the sunset. There is also a formal parlor with an awesome grand piano and separate billiard room which got some use as well. About 25 minutes outside of Blarney, it was a nice drive to Blarney Castle for a day trip but we enjoyed all just hanging out together as a family, we opted to stay for an extra day just to enjoy the Castle even more. Was the highlight of my family vacation

Orla and her team were exceptionally responsive and helpful for our very large family stay. The accommodations and surrounding area including castle and grounds was magical like a fairy tale. We had 16 adults and 3 young children and Finnvale Castle Estate was the perfect dream location. I would love to stay there again when I return to Ireland! Thank you!
