Youghal 4.5 miles. An excellent, detached house perfectly situated in the South of Ireland with sea views, just a few miles from the popular coastal town of Youghal in County Cork. Only a stones throw from the beach, this detached holiday home is in a fantastic location for families and friends to get together, and you dont have far to go to dip your toes in the Irish Sea! The house has four comfortable bedrooms spread over the two floors and downstairs you will also find a well-equipped kitchen, complete with a dining table. It is the perfect room for whipping up a tasty breakfast and prepare for a day of exploring.
Take it easy in the sitting room and plan tomorrows adventures, or curl up with a good book, relax and enjoy your escape from everyday life. With the sun out, open up the patio doors and let the refreshing summer breeze in through the house, sit out on the patio with a cooling drink and let the younger ones run around in the big back garden. The town of Youghal is close to hand with plenty to discover! There are small beaches, which are perfect for keeping an eye on the children while they splash in the sea, a range of shops, restaurants and pubs featuring live Irish music, plus the greyhound track where you can try and spot a winner.

A lovely thoughtful welcome hamper on arrival including doggie treats! Thank you Denise! The location is stunning and we enjoyed daily walks (and a September swim) on the beach and Denise gave me some very useful tips about the beach and surrounding facilities on a phone call. We spent a few of our days exploring the beautiful county of Cork and the house was a peaceful haven to return to after busy days out and about. The kitchen is a fairly small space but well equipped and we were lucky enough to be able to eat outside at the large outdoor table (there were 6 of us). The beds were very comfortable and the living room was the perfect space for many a board game in the evenings⦠Thank you very much Denise! We shall definitely be sharing your house as a top spot to stay in County Cork!

Owners were very helpful and left a few goodies which were appreciated. Only thing we found was the kitchen was a little small with not much storage space for food or cooking and no dishwasher but we eat out quite a bit and didn't spoil the holiday. We had a lovely time.
