Loft above old barn, rustic setting with full amenities. Ideal location to explore the scenic area and further afield. Owners have working stables with numerous horses (one of which gave birth whilst I was there). Chickens also present. Leading to a very enjoyable one week stay.

The bed was very comfortable and kitchen well equiped. I loved the countryside setting with horses and chickens nearby and found it very peaceful. Ardfinan is beautiful and has nice river views.

The smoke alarm was faulty and eventually spoke to the manager and was told to cover it up. The Internet was also not working and this was discussed with the manager and she was going to contact Vodafone. The manager then arrived and removed the battery for the smoke alarm. This was replaced the next day. We also reported that there was no hot water in the bathroom hand basin and were told that it's usually hot. It wasn't. We were told later in the week that the Internet fault was passed on to Vodafone but we spent all week without Internet. This made it impossible to plan anything during our stay and caused us a great deal of stress which ruined our stay at the property. The sofa is incredibly uncomfortable as it's so well worn. We understand that the loft has character but our experience was very poor to say the least and we did not enjoy our stay.
