The wild Atlantic Way, Donegal Airport and the fabulous Blue Flag Beach of Carrickfinn are right on the door step of this lovely cottage. Just two miles away is the Caisleann Hotel and it is also a short drive to the renowned family owned restaurant 'Danny’s Minnie’s Restaurant'. The cottage allows you take in year-round entertainment and there is no lacking in talent with Leos Traven, owned by the famous music family of Enya and Clannad and Moya Brennan, situated close by. The home town of the world-famous singer Daniel O Donnell Kincasslagh is approximately a 10-minute journey, taking you through some of the most breath-taking scenery in the world.
Mount Errigal is the highest mountain in Donegal and proudly stands with great pride over this whole area. You can see it mostly from any place you are visiting, and can be climbed by any novice climber. The poisoned Glen is famous for its lake and valleys and the picture-perfect village of Dun Luiche sits at the foothills of this great mountain. Donegal Airport which brings visitor all-year-round to the area is only half a mile from the cottage and is now known for having the best scenic landing in the world. So no matter if it is to take time out to paint, read, walk or explore the wondrous areas of Donegal, you will not be disappointed at Atlantic Way House.

Situated between Cruit Island and Innisfree Bay, the village of Kincasslagh boasts some of the most intriguing coastline in Western Europe, the area surrounding Kincasslagh is packed with sandy beaches. Visitors can enjoy a round of golf on Cruit Island's nine-hole course or explore the many walking and cycling routes throughout the region. It is also possible to visit the bustling fishing port of Burtonport, catch a ferry to Aranmore Island or discover the historical town of Dungloe with its cliff-top views.
