Step inside and you are drawn straight into the heart of the home, where light floods the open-plan kitchen and living space.

Designed to take full advantage of the views, wall-to-wall glazing and sliding doors stretch across the room, allowing the lake and surrounding landscape to remain firmly in sight throughout the day. The kitchen itself feels sleek and purposeful, with plenty of room to prepare meals while still feeling part of the group. A breakfast bar encourages slow mornings and casual chats, while a sofa set within the kitchen area makes this a space where people naturally gather. At the centre, a large dining table comfortably seats everyone, perfect for long evening meals that drift into conversation late into the night. Just off the kitchen, the utility room blends practicality with pleasure, where everyday tasks are accompanied by yet more views across the lake.

Whether unloading the washing machine or preparing snacks for the day ahead, the scenery remains part of the experience. From the kitchen, step into the main sitting room where the mood softens and slows. Plush seating gathers around an open fire set against a charming stone wall, creating a welcoming place to unwind. Armchairs are positioned for fireside chats, while a large mounted television makes this an inviting spot for film nights after full days outdoors. Hidden doors on either side of the fireplace add a sense of discovery, quietly revealing two ground-floor bedrooms. One opens into a twin room with its own TV, ideal for younger guests or friends, while the other leads to a double bedroom that feels tucked away and restful.

A ground-floor shower room nearby offers a practical space to refresh after riverside walks or time spent outdoors. Heading upstairs, the views begin to expand. A king-size bedroom offers countryside scenery from the windows, with an armchair placed perfectly for moments of pause. This room also benefits from a TV and an en-suite shower room, creating a private retreat at the end of the day. The super-king-size bedroom is a true highlight, where a walk-in wardrobe leads into a serene sleeping space. From here, elevated views open out across the shimmering lake and surrounding mountains, a scene that changes constantly with the light.

An en-suite shower room completes this calming space, making it ideal for slow mornings and early nights alike. Outside, the patio becomes an extension of the living areas. Step through the sliding doors to find a space shaped for lingering, with outdoor furniture arranged to take full advantage of the stunning lake views. The large window inside frames the water like a living picture, while outside the hot tub invites evenings spent soaking beneath open skies as the landscape settles into dusk. With the lake just a short walk away and a nearby shop and pub within easy reach, everything needed for a relaxed stay lies close at hand.

The surrounding area offers memorable days out in every direction. Glenveagh National Park draws visitors into a world of rugged beauty, where forest paths wind through ancient woodland, the castle rises dramatically beside the lough, and wildlife moves freely across the hills. Along the coast, the Slieve League cliffs deliver an unforgettable sense of scale, with narrow paths, sweeping Atlantic views, and the sound of waves far below creating a powerful connection to the landscape. A trip to Arranmore Island adds a change of pace, where the ferry journey feels like a small adventure, coastal walks reveal wide sea views, and island life unfolds at its own steady rhythm.
