This three-bed cottage boasts a sociable open-plan living space and is ideally located for a group of friends or family seeking a seaside getaway. While staying half a mile from Portnoo village, you’ll be just 300 yards from Lake Clooney, where you can try your hand at fishing. Having an evening drink couldn’t be easier with the local waterhole just 100 yards away. While away your time at the sandy Narin/Portnoo Beach (1 mile) and surround yourself with nature on a walk through Bonny Glen Woods (2 miles).
Step inside the main hub of the cottage to find a bright and cosy lounge/kitchen/diner. Your attention will be drawn to the exposed stone fireplace with an open fire, which is surrounded by comfortable red sofas and an armchair. Continue into a neutral-toned kitchen area with a farmhouse style and plenty of space for cooking a homemade meal, which can be enjoyed at the wooden dining table. Also, on the ground floor is a separate WC. Climb the stairs to reach a family bathroom and three bedrooms – two doubles and another double with an en-suite shower room.
Outside, you can unwind on the patio furniture in the fully enclosed garden – which also has a locked shed available for storage.
