Villa Zaffiro is a spacious contemporary retreat set among tree-dotted grounds on Sicily’s east coast, just a short drive from the beaches and the vibrant town of Taormina. With sweeping countryside views and generous indoor and outdoor spaces, it offers a relaxed base for exploring one of Sicily’s most captivating regions.

Inside, the villa features bright, modern interiors where large windows and glass doors frame views of the surrounding hills and gardens. The main house is arranged across two levels and includes comfortable living areas, dining space and a well-equipped kitchen designed for sociable gatherings. Two additional bedrooms are located in a separate annex, providing extra privacy for guests travelling together.

Each of the seven bedrooms is calm and inviting, with most offering ensuite bathrooms. The master suite is particularly indulgent, featuring an in-room Jacuzzi bath and direct access to the pool terrace.

Outside, landscaped gardens open onto wide terraces perfect for al fresco dining. The impressive private swimming pool sits at the centre of the grounds, offering plenty of space to swim or relax in the Sicilian sunshine. For moments of relaxation, Villa Zaffiro also includes a private wellness area with sauna and fitness equipment.

Beaches along the Ionian coast are around ten minutes away, while the historic streets, restaurants and famous ancient theatre of Taormina can be reached within roughly half an hour.

Villa Zaffiro enjoys a peaceful setting in the Sicilian countryside, just a short drive from the Ionian coast and the lively seaside town of Giardini Naxos. Within around ten minutes you can reach a selection of beaches and lidos where calm waters, sun loungers and waterfront cafés create the perfect setting for a relaxed day by the sea. Nearby Fondachello and Marina di Cottone offer long stretches of sand and pebbles, while the protected Nature Reserve of Fiumefreddo is known for its unspoilt scenery and clear waters.

The historic area of Giardini Naxos, Sicily’s first Greek colony, lies about fifteen minutes away and features archaeological sites and the imposing Schisò Castle overlooking the bay.

Further along the coast, the elegant hilltop town of Taormina can be reached in roughly thirty minutes. Here you can explore the famous ancient theatre, browse boutique-lined streets and take the cable car down to the picturesque beach at Mazzarò and the nature reserve of Isola Bella. For nature lovers, the dramatic gorges of the Alcantara River Park and the slopes of Mount Etna are both within easy driving distance.
