The garden studio is ideal for couples seeking stylish, glamorous accommodation in a homely, comfortable setting overlooking a beautiful garden. The studio has a wonderful, sumptuous sleeping space with extravagant ‘Sampedro’ linens, fully-equipped stunning kitchenette, generous closet and an immaculate large shower room. The studio is furnished to an incredibly high standard as you would expect, using a colour palette of neutral earthy tones combined with splashes of ocean-inspired aquamarine and blue. The garden terrace and outdoor furniture is simply marvellous.Porches is a small town between Lagos and Albufeira. It is known for some of the most beautiful pottery in the Algarve. A visit to Casa Grade or Porches Pottery is far more than just going into a shop, it is an experience in itself. It is wonderful to explore these lovely shops.
Praia dos Bejinhos beach means ‘little kisses beach’. It is very close to the studio and a fantastic place to spend the day. There are also many other incredible beaches along this stunning coastline, including golden beaches and dramatic natural scenery such as Praia de Cova Redonda and the vast beach that runs all the way from Praia de Armacao to Praia de Gale through Praia dos Salgodas.
Porches is situated between Albufeira and Portimao, with several lovely villages in between. Carvoeiro has a very peaceful and welcoming ambience and is a very picturesque and traditional Portuguese town. Salgados has a huge lagoon, an important stopover for many migrating birds and protected species. There is a long boardwalk with several bars. It is lovely and quiet. There is an annual Internation Sand Art Festival held at Salgados which takes sandcastle-building to a new level. 40,000 tons of sand are shaped into intricate sculptures, some of which stand a whopping 12 feet tall!
Close by is ‘Dos Santos’ a wonderful brewery and vineyard where you can try some famous port and wine. The town of Armacao de Pera sells many handmade goods so is a great place to shop among streets lined by age-old churches and castles. If you are interested in shopping, there is a huge centre in nearby Guia. Guia is also home to the famous Piri-Piri chicken which you really should try.
Albufeira is a real all-rounder for evenings out. There are many al fresco restaurants in the old town’s main square. Why not spend an evening sipping from a carafe of home-grown wine while people watching? The nightclubs will keep you dancing until the sun is up!The Villa
