Situated in the lovely and popular resort of Playa Blanca, Casa Picon is perfect for couples and families seeking a peaceful location with your very own private swimming pool combined with easy access to a wide range of facilities. In spite of the fact that the property is set back nearly 2km from the beach, a hire car is not strictly necessary here, as there are a couple of charming local restaurants and basic mini-markets within a 10 to 15-minute stroll away. The nearest bus stop is similarly close and offers a frequent service into the bustling town centre which makes Casa Picon ideal for those travelling with older teenagers that may desire a degree of independence. The interiors are bright, spacious and welcoming, boasting all the mod cons necessary for a comfortable family holiday. There is also a hot tub located on the terrace, a perfect spot for a relaxing glass of chilled wine after a hard days sightseeing! However, with the beach and resort facilities a mere 5-minute drive away, we envisage that many an evening will be spent strolling along the pretty promenade.  Playa Blanca is the perfect choice for families with young children, as it has a lovely water park, and there are many sandy beaches ideally suited for young children.

Casa Picon is located right next door to Casa Palmera, making it an ideal choice for larger families or 2 families wishing to travel together as the maximum sleeping capacity will be for 16 people.

Playa Blanca is a very popular resort located a short 30-minute drive from Lanzarote airport in the islands capital, Arrecife. The resort of Playa Blanca boasts many gorgeous sandy beaches, with the beaches of Papagayo being particularly popular due to the fine golden sand. There are also numerous restaurants, café bars and shops in Playa Blanca, and a wonderful waterfront promenade that stretches for many kilometres, a great place for a gentle stroll or to burn off some calories during a morning jog! Another highlight of staying in Playa Blanca is that there are regular ferries going over to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura, a journey that takes less than 45 minutes and offers you the opportunity to visit the harbour town of Corralejo with it’s very famous sand dunes/desert!
