The property is at the foot of the stunning Montgo mountain range, which is home to the Montgo Natural Park, covering an area of 2117 hectares. The park is home to a huge variety of typically Mediterranean flora and fauna species, and there are hiking and biking routes for every level. The views over the Mediterranean are absolutely glorious and can't be missed!
Javea is historical and charming and enjoys up to 320 days of sunshine each year. The town retains a 'Spanish' feel, and the pretty old town has cobbled narrow streets lined with houses and shops built with original Tosca sandstone and is dominated by the gothic 15th Century church of San Bartolome. The Old town is home to a charming local market each Thursday and is great for finding trinkets and presents for home. Next to San Bartolome is a beautiful building housing an indoor daily market where you can pick up delicious local produce.
The Port of Javea is an attractive magnet for tourists and locals alike. Whitewashed houses surround the bay, and there are plenty of good shops, bars and cafes to wander to. There are excellent bay-side restaurants that serve fantastic seafood and local specialities. This is the perfect spot to sit back and people-watch.
Beach lovers are spoilt for choice in this wonderful sunny region, and one of the nicest is Playa Del Arenal, the town's main beach. Here you can enjoy a large, wide sandy beach in a sheltered bay with shallow calm waters. Surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants, there is plenty to do and see, and a walk along the promenade is a must to soak up the atmosphere. Party people are also well catered for with live music, bars and clubs aplenty.
Heading the other way from the property is Denia, a delightful historical coastal town sitting at the foot of a hill crowned by a castle. With a large bustling marina and plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants, Denia is lovely to explore and enjoys several beaches of fine sand and shallow waters, making it ideal for the little ones.
