Definitely return when the works to the beautiful house next door is finished. The ground workers, who also work for the golf club, set a fire 🔥 going in a big chimney thing, left it unattended, the top open, burning plastic's a long with other stuff. On their return, I told them off, wild fire risk, etc. Told the golf club, they were not interested.This was on Monday after a lovely peaceful weekend & nice food at the golf club. Tues, they didn't light it, By Wednesday we were still worried, they would. So I packed up my car to go home, then a worker came to tell me they would not be lighting it again. As not sure we left 2 days early. Other wise the lodge is amazing has everything we would need & more. My dog lovely it too.

Owners should advise that building work is on going, and part of your view is blocked by a mountain of mud. And should offer you a discount or full refund by law.Lodge was very comfortable and clean, hot tub was nice and spa resort very good, had Sunday lunch there and was excellent. However for the money we paid felt was not worth it due to building work/ heavy machinery.After complaining to holiday company was given a partial refund, excellent customer service. Anyone wishing to book should allow 12-18 months for building work to be completed

As a family of five and a dog, we absolutely loved our stay at Sunnyfields. The location is great as a base for exploring Cambridge and surrounding areas and the proximity to Cambridge Country club with the outdoor terrace, swimming pool and gym was wonderful. The hot tub and outdoor furniture as well as the view over the golf club was the perfect set up for balmy evenings after a day of exploring.Thank you for a wonderful stay
