Bears House is nestled in a peaceful village near Newmarket, Cambridge. Complete with a hot tub, it is the perfect retreat for those looking to disconnect from busy life. Here you can enjoy yoga in the treehouse, games on the green, al fresco dining or a romantic rowboat ride under the stars. With shops, eateries, museums and much more, the vibrant city of Cambridge and the historic town of Newmarket are within easy reach and just under two hours from London.

Bears House is a cosy lodge complete with a kitchenette, spacious sitting room and sleeping accommodation for two people in a comfy double bedroom.

The fully-equipped kitchenette offers a mini-fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The separate sitting room has a sofa and a television and boasts views out over the gardens and lake. Outside, the decked area offers a barbecue, garden furniture and a covered electric hot tub. The perfect space to embrace outdoor living and enjoy al fresco dining surrounded by nature.

The lodge has its own private shower room, located in a separate lodge just a short walk away, with a shower, WC and wash basin.

The site provides a complimentary badminton net for some light-hearted fun. There’s also a seasonal putting green, inviting guests of all ages to enjoy friendly competition in the fresh air. The lake adds a truly magical touch. Take a row boat out and glide across the water to Duck Island, home to friendly ducks and their adorable ducklings. Observing these native creatures in their natural habitat is a heart-warming experience that brings nature even closer to your stay.

There is a charming gazebo, where you can cook on the firepit and savour a meal surrounded by nature and stunning views. Or venture up to the treehouse platform, home to a large family table, perfect for shared moments or peaceful yoga sessions high above the ground.

Although the lodge is designed for two guests they can accommodate up to four guests for an additional £50.00 per guest per night. The extra guests will have to bring their own bed linen or we can supply bed linen for each extra guest for an extra £10.
