Kitchen had all items we would need - thank you for the milk tea & coffee Perfect beds with extra blankets if needed - but wasn’t needed as the heating worked well / so always lovely & warm Parking could be an issue - but I found No issues as good at reversing to park the car Perfectly located for the village & Boscastle, Port Isaac etc Will

The surrounding countryside is stunning, plenty of footpaths and walks for the dogs, and only a short drive to any number of beautiful beaches. Kingfisher house is well laid out and had everything needed for our stay, including some bonus fudge and biscuits (which went down very well with the teenager). The kitchen is well equipped should you need to cook, and the lounge area/dining area was comfy. The only thing that could have made it even better would be a small side table, as it was a wrench to leave the sofa to get the cup of tea from the dining table. Bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, with linen and towels provided, and although quite close to the road the noise was minimal and at night was almost non existent. The heating took the edge off the Autumn evening chill and there was always plenty of hot water. Unfortunately the bathroom fan did not appear to be working, and as the water was so hot, the bathroom did get very steamed up and was lacking ventilation. We did use the dehumidifier provided, but it didn’t work particularly well. One thing to be aware of is that parking is a more than a little on the tight side, even in a Micra. Luckily no one parked in the space next to me, but I can imagine it may be difficult if there is another car. Reversing in was definitely easier than reversing out. All in all we had a lovely stay, and would be happy book if visiting the area again.

We managed ok with a medium sized car and someone helping the driver but for those with larger vehicles it could be an issue. It was a lovely touch for there to be some milk, biscuits and fudge to welcome us.
