This attractive holiday cottage is deceptively spacious inside, having the benefit of an additional conservatory/sitting room which overlooks the courtyard garden. Bourton-on-the-Water is known as the ’Venice of the Cotswolds’ because the River Windrush runs through its length. There are also plenty of cycle/walking routes within the Cotswolds. Tourist attractions include the Model Village, Cotswold Motor Museum, Birdland, the Model Railway and fascinating dragonfly maze. There is additional parking to the rear of the property if more than 1 car and there is direct access from the garden to open fields, perfect for those who love walking. Visit Britain Gold Award 2009/2010. Shops 150 yards, pub 10 yards. Please note: There are some fairly steep and narrow stairs to the top floor at the property.

Dolls Cottage is in an excellent location in the Cotswolds. There are lots of good pubs and restaurants in Bourton. It’s also an excellent centre for those interested in a walking holiday with many lovely walks within a few miles' radius.The cottage was clean and comfortable and parking was easy.

Beautifully furnished and decorated throughout. Just the right size for 3 of us on a weekend break. A 5 minute walk to the centre with a great choice of food and pubs.

Lovely cottage just 7 minutes walk into Bourton on the Water. Cottage was spotless, kitchen was fully equipped which led too conservatory and enclosed secure garden which we didn’t use due to the British weather 🌦️ We didn’t take our dog but there was a cupboard just for them with towels, dog treats, bowls and an umbrella! The only negative was there was no heating in the main bedroom and we found the lounge cold after a certain time (8pm) as only the small radiator was working, everywhere else was fine. Would we book this cottage again - yes and next time would take our 🐶
