Once part of the Wychwood Forest, the landscape here now has pockets of woodland, with deer and other wildlife to be observed. A walking and touring paradise, it is ideal for the Cotswolds towns and villages, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick, Kenilworth, Blenheim, Cheltenham and Oxford. Further afield are the Malvern Hills, the ancient Forest of Dean and Gloucester, with its historic docks and cathedral.

Old School Cottage is a lovely house where we last stayed in 2009, but the property has deteriorated a little bit over time. At present the flat roof over the kitchen leaks and we had to place a bucket under a light fitting where water was dripping through. A few other things need to be addressed, but these are minor issues, despite these issues we still had a nice holiday. If these things where put right, I would change my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.

A nice cottage, parking is for only one car not as stated, kitchen equipment miss matched and not enough for four adults. Settee in lounge needs replacing. Dvd player can not be used with tv . Dusty furniture and poor mattresses in 2nd bedroom.
