A pretty, 250 year old cottage in a quiet corner of Bourton-on-the-Hill, Keytes Cottage boasts many original features and a beautiful cottage style garden with lovely views across miles of rolling Cotswold countryside.

Inside, a cosy sitting room features an original inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove and exposed beams. The farmhouse style kitchen is well-equipped including a dishwasher and washer/dyer and provides a small dining area and an old fashioned pantry. Upstairs, bedroom one benefits from more exposed beams, rural views and a king-size bed; whilst bedroom two also provides rural views from dual aspect windows and has twin single beds. Both bedrooms share a family bathroom with a cast iron, roll-top bath.

Nestling on the hillside at the end of Keytes Lane, this pretty little cottage's finest feature has to be its delightful and generous cottage-style garden, well stocked with cheery perennials and shrubs and enjoying enviable views right across the Evenlode Valley. Two patio areas make the most of the sunny, southern aspect. Please be mindful of a steep drop from the garden, which makes this property unsuitable for young children and dogs.

Enjoy countryside walks aplenty straight from the front door and, on your return, treat yourself to a pub lunch in the popular Horse and Groom serving excellent food and within walking distance of the cottage. Keytes Cottage is just a 5 minute drive from vibrant Moreton-in-Marsh; 15 minutes from the beautiful market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Campden; along with many other popular Cotswold towns and villages within very easy reach.

Beautiful cottage- with a wonderful garden in a fabulous location. Easy to get around the Cotswolds- short drives or longer walks - straight from the front door. Cottage is perfect for a couple, good facilities- no shower but a great roll top bath. This is rural so phone and WiFi can be slow - but hey your trying to get away from it all - sit on the gorgeous garden and read a book after your long walk. Lots nearby - easy and great rural walk to Moreton (30 Mins) for any needs - including plenty of places to eat. Stop off at the falconry on the way - that’s a great visit.

A lovely cottage, comfortable beds and nice lounge. The garden is glorious and we spent a lot of time in it just reading & relaxing. A very convenient location and just a short 10 min walk alongs a picturesque bridleway to the nearby Budgen's mini supermarket for a paper and essentials.

Lovely location, clean, pretty cottage with very comfortable beds and bed linen and lounge suite. This is the first Classic cottage we have stayed in, but the fifth 5 star cottage we have stayed in, in the UK. It was the only one that didn’t delight. It seemed more 3-4 star by comparison. We were disappointed by the tired furnishings and ornaments. Although the wardrobes and bedroom drawers were clear and spacious, the clutter of old, apparently unused/unwanted items filling much of the storage space wasn’t very pleasant. On entering the lounge the picture hook with no picture, on the wall directly opposite and the old, empty bookshelves on the floor at the doorway, leaning against the wall, added to the feeling of lack of care. The smart TV was great but is the first one that neither my technologically savvy husband or 26 year old daughter were able to get to work as a smart TV. The main oven wasn’t working but we managed with the small top oven.
