A comfortable stay that had everything we needed for a getaway. Unfortunately though, the 2 farm dogs barked outside most of the time we were there (from morning until night.) One night it was 10.10pm before they stopped.

Lovely spacious cottage, very clean, nice and quiet location, friendly owner but never intruding, within easy reach of main Cotswolds popular villages.

We had a lovely week in Gilbert's cottage, it was well equipped and suited us perfectly, our hosts were very nice. We visited the, easy to reach beautiful Cotswold villages of Chipping Campden, Snowshill and Illmington all had walks and lovely pubs serving very good, reasonably priced food. Ebrington and Illmington also have gastro pubs, again excellent food but a bit pricier. Snowshill and, close by Hidcote both have National Trust Gardens. The Slaughters are also within easy reach, as are the busier villages like Stow On The Wold, Moreton in Marsh and Bourton On The Water.
