Sherborne House is a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian terraced house that dates back to the 17th century, with cosy interiors and beautiful exposed beams it is the perfect home away from home. The property sits proudly on Chipping Campden's High Street and enjoys a wide variety of pubs, restaurants and bistros within close walking distance, making it the ideal place for a family holiday or a romantic retreat.

Sherborne House sits proudly on the historic High Street of Chipping Campden and is a Grade II listed Georgian property that dates back to the 17th century - Sherborne House is located opposite Greville House, which is the oldest house in Chipping Campden and boasts easy access to all that Chipping Campden has to offer.

This beautiful property provides generous accommodation for four guests; the large kitchen, with exposed beams, provides ample space to prepare a delicious meal for everyone, and is well-equipped for even the keenest of chefs. Sherborne House boasts two sitting rooms, with the ground floor sitting room also being home to the dining area, making it the perfect room to enjoy a home-cooked meal together and then retreat to the sumptuous sofas for your night cap of choice, whilst you watch the world go by through the stunning stone bay windows.

Upstairs, the second sitting room offers a tranquil place to enjoy a morning coffee and enjoy watching the world go by from the window seat, or to sit back and relax with your favourite book or box set after a day spent exploring all that the Cotswolds has to offer. The second sitting room also has a desk area, which is perfect for catching up with the world. The first bedroom, with a king-size bed, also resides on the first floor. Enjoying the same view of the High Street from another beautiful bay window, the first bedroom is served by a stylish shower room with a spacious walk-in shower. The second floor is home to the remaining bedroom, which has a double-bed and is nestled in the eaves of the property. There is also a second bathroom, with a hand-held shower attachment.

Outside, the pretty courtyard is a lovely spot to enjoy the sunshine whilst you relax on the garden furniture. A few steps up leads you to the parking area, which is ideally sized for one large car, or two small cars. Wander around the corner and you will be welcomed by the stretch of historic Chipping Campden High Street, with its honey stone buildings, historic Market Hall, pretty tea shops, pubs, restaurants and independent shops.

Sherborne House is easily accessible from London with a two hour drive or a ninety minute train journey from Paddington to Moreton-in-Marsh, you can escape to the countryside and witness the marvels of the nearby Bourton-on-the-Water or take a stroll around Stow-on-the-Wold, to name just a few.

Please note, the fireplace in the ground floor sitting room is for ornamental purposes only.

Please be aware that the boiler within the property is always turned on. We kindly ask that guests do not turn the boiler off, and that the heating is controlled via the thermostat in the downstairs hallway.

There is a water softener located under the kitchen sink; please only use the cold water tap position for drinking (and filling the kettle) as the softened water is not suitable for consumption.

Summer weight duvets are provided in the warmer months.

    A very lovely stay here with my son. Cottage is very homely and absolutely everything is here that you could ask for to make life easy.We went to quite a few places and packed in as much as we could. Visited Bourton on the water and Bird land, Bourton on the Water is extremely busy but very pretty place.We had a shopping day in Cheltenham 'wow what a brilliant shopping centre.!' Had amazing meal at the The Lygon Hotel Chipping Campden, fabulous lady behind the bar food at the Italian place down the road, beautiful, lots of walking and admiring the very lovely buildings in the Cotswolds.My son is 18 and has autism so he can get anxious in certain places but here he was very relaxed and felt safe walking around even at night he had the best time!.So thank you for a very lovely stay hope to visit again.

    what a wonderful few days our family has shared here in Sherborne House in Chipping Campden and the Cotswolds overall!!We’ve been visiting from Sharon, Massachusetts in the USA and this has been the first time in the UK for the most of us.My husband was here as a boy, and all the places we saw in the Cotswolds, we are already mostly long to return.Thank you for providing us with such a warm and lovely cottage from which to experience all this.It’s a thoroughly and beautiful appointed House and was as welcoming as comfortable as home as we could have hoped for we hope very much to return with our warmest thanks The H family.

    A wonderful cosy and well appointed cottage. We love the area and try to visit from our home in Darbyshire once a year.Hidden restaurant gems are The Mount Stanton email for reservation The Swan in Broadway and agree Da Luigi Bistro here in Chipping Campden with visit The Pheasant at Toddington and the GWR steam train also good.Hope your stay as good as ours has been. The Cotswold distillery also Worthwhile visiting.
