The Old Brewhouse in Chipping Campden is praised for its excellent location, with secret access to the high street and its array of shops and eateries. Guests appreciate the property's charm, quietness, and suitability as a base for exploring the Cotswolds. While some issues with maintenance and cleanliness were noted, the overall experience is viewed positively.
Cleanliness received mixed feedback. One review mentioned poor housekeeping and dust under furniture, while others did not raise cleanliness as an issue. Due to the lack of consistent comments on cleanliness, the score reflects an average rating.
The location is highly commended for its convenience and quietness despite being close to the high street. It is considered an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds, contributing to a high score in this category.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, with the cottage described as cosy and quiet. However, one review cited uncomfortable furniture and a problematic log burner, which suggests room for improvement.
Facilities are appreciated for being well-equipped, but several reviews mention issues such as Wi-Fi connectivity, broken blinds, and a leaky basin. These maintenance concerns affect the score for this category.

The Old Brewhouse is a traditional, Cotswolds cottage based in the heart of the market town of Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.
Tastefully furnished and featuring a lovely shared garden space, The Old Brewhouse is a wonderful place to call home with family, friends and your canine companion. After a day of walking, look forward to kicking back in the sitting room beside the woodburning stove, reflecting on the day’s events. Cross over to the kitchen and rustle up a hearty feast, making use of the electric oven and hob, microwave fridge/freezer, dishwasher and there’s even a washing machine, so you won’t have to pack your whole wardrobe! Spend those balmy evenings in the shared garden, sitting on the benches amongst the roses, with a favourite tipple in hand. Whisk away upstairs and make yourself at home in the bedrooms, with the master hosting a super-king-size bed, whilst there is also a double bedroom, served by a bathroom. The Old Brewhouse is a fantastic base for uncovering the best of the Cotswolds, whatever time of year. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 1137066 and 1137061, together sleeping 13 guests.
This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique. For a dose of famous history, head to the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon just 12 short miles away, it offers some charming little buildings, bookshops, theatres and museums.
