Well Cottage is a beautiful semi-detached cottage nestled along a private track in the picturesque village of Oddington, surrounded by the stunning Cotswolds. The perfect place for a couple to escape into the tranquil and lush scenery of the countryside with two dogs welcome. You'll find and convenient and spacious welcome with onsite parking along a private road for up to two cars and spacious garden areas including a large picnic field, barbeque and lawn furniture, ideal for pets to enjoy. Enter into the hallway and feel the instant warmth from the oil fuelled radiators and walk through to the kitchen where you'll discover a stylish, modern kitchen with electric hob, dishwasher, oven and fridge with freezer compartment; all you need to cook up your favourite meal which you can enjoy at the dining area.
Move through into the lounge with a choice of arm chairs and a sofa to relax on after a busy day exploring. There's a large Smart TV for settling down to your favourite films and shows and exposed beams in the roof give this room an extra romantic charm. The highest town in the Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold, originally an Iron Age Fort, epitomises olde worlde England. This ancient market town has played host to many fairs since the 12th century and today holds a biannual Gypsy Horse Fair, craft fairs and monthly Farmers' market. The vast market square boasts an ancient cross at one end and the village stocks at the other, surrounded by an elegant array of Cotswold stone townhouses, antique shops, tea rooms, traditional pubs, award-winning restaurants and its very own cricket museum. Many walks and cycle rides through the beautiful rolling countryside of the Cotswolds can be enjoyed from the centre of Stow, with the Macmillan Way, Heart of England Way, Gloucestershire and Monarch's Way all running close to the town. Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' as the River Windrush runs through the centre, lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is one of the most popular Cotswold villages. Located on a small farm with Christmas lights marking the way. It was dark when we arrived and this felt great. Hardstanding provided for car next to property. Complimentary tea, coffee,and some milk in the fridge helped us get warm and settled in. Mobile reception great and not far from local main roads to reach Cotswolds villages/towns. Large screen TVs with FreesSat and Apps. Very comfortable bed upstairs and slept well each night. Everything was perfect. Information pack suggested some local places to visit.

Great, tucked away rural location and very central for exploring the Cotswold area. Excellent and helpful hosts who introduced us to their lovely 4 horses and 2 dogs! In so far as Sykes administration, the overall tone of emails regarding how to leave the cottage are over zealous. We would always leave a cottage in excellent condition and donât need to be told/reminded on numerous occasions.
