The property is spread generously over three floors, with a large open plan and glass fronted living space and kitchen, with a balcony on the first floor to take advantage of the waterfront views. Each bedroom suite boasts quality linens and comfy beds for the perfect night’s slumber.
The open plan living, kitchen and dining space makes for the ultimate social hub, perfect for wining, dining and gaming, be it board or electronic. With two terraces overlooking the lake, step out onto the ground floor terrace and enjoy the view. The upper terrace provides a great spot for dining alfresco with an aperitif or two. As the evening draws in, there is a feature wood burner for a toasty retreat inside.
Located on a private 450-acre natural reserve, the gated and managed estate comprises of woodland and meadows crossed by three rivers and surrounded by serene lakes. Several lakes can be used for water activities including kayaking and paddle boarding. The Activity Hub, which is located less than 10 minutes from the property, will hire equipment for water sports and bikes.
The ArtSpa is less than a 5 minutes’ walk from the property and offers an indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, eco-pool, sauna, steam room and gym, as well as shower and changing facilities. Spa treatments are bookable via the spa.

We booked Cuckoo's Nest for two nights as we were attending a family wedding in Cirencester. The accommodation was described as luxury, it was nice but not luxury. Here are some of my reasons why: the bathrooms need updating, especially the upstairs shower, one of the wall lights in the living room needed a bulb replaced, we couldn't get the blind in the upstairs room to come down. The view from the living room was beautiful and the hot tub great but I think it was an expensive two nights away and not the luxury I was expecting so I came away a little disappointed.

Some areas of the apartment need some TLC such as the bathrooms. The shower areas weren't as clean as we would have liked. Great location, lovely and quiet and good access to swimming pool etc.

Amazing location and lakes are stunning! Peaceful and tranquil. Cycling around the estate was fabulous too with loads of places for picnic spots. The house was huge, and well stocked kitchen. The utilities however a little old now with some chipped plates and cups which needs to be replaced. The lake right outside the house needs some cutting back - thorns overgrown which scratched us while entering the lake. Loads of ducks which come to greet you and the hot tub was a huge win after a day paddling …. All in all a fantastic holiday and we highly recommend it! Thank you for a restful yet activity filled week away from work .
