About this property

Nestled in the rural hamlet of North Reston near Louth in Lincolnshire, close to the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, lies this charming, detached cottage, Rose Cottage. As you unload in the off-road parking space, amble through a quaint enclosed garden area with outdoor furniture, a barbecue and a cast-iron fireplace, an ideal spot for alfresco mealtimes or relishing a bottle of bubbly. Cross the threshold into your new home and kick back on the plush sofas in a generously-sized sitting room, it boasts a homely interior, Smart TV and woodburning stove creating an idyllic haven to spend quality time with loved ones or retreat to with a book for some peaceful seclusion. Down the hallway lies a fully-equipped kitchen, hosting all the essential appliances so that the designated chef of the group is well-prepared to rustle up hearty meals for all the family; completing the ground-floor is a handy shower room, where you can freshen up before heading out to the local pub on evenings when you don’t feel like cooking! When the night rolls in, retreat upstairs, and select your bedroom of choice, a king-size or a twin both with plenty of storage and a Smart TV so you can enjoy some light entertainment before catching your sleep. Start your morning with an indulgent soak in your very own roll top bath before exploring all that Lincolnshire has to offer. Venture to the nearby market town of Louth to immerse yourself in the rich history at Louth Museum, or visit Cadwell Park, one of the best motor cycling circuits in the UK for some high-speed fun. For a day at the beach, head to Mablethorpe, a charming seaside town showcasing sandy beaches, The Seal Sanctuary Wildlife Centre and an array of restaurants, fish and chip shops and pubs to choose from. The bustling city of Lincoln is also accessible from your doorstep, hosting the 11th Century Lincoln Castle, Lincoln Cathedral and Boultham Park to fill your days. Rose Cottage is the perfect base to discover and enjoy the treasures that Lincolnshire has to offer.

The capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds is the lovely, historic market town of Louth. The town has Georgian-style streets with Grade II-listed buildings, St. James Church, a theatre, an art-deco cinema, a museum, a golf course, a contemporary leisure complex, superb shopping, including weekly market days, and a wide variety of restaurants to suit every taste. The nearby Cadwell Park is the site of kart, bike, and auto racing. Gentle rolling hills, charming villages, and excellent cycling and walking trails may be found in the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastal towns of Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe, and Sutton-on-Sea are all easily accessible by car, and Theddlethorpe Nature Reserve is home to miles of golden sand beaches and an incredible birdlife. Additionally, Horncastle and Hemswell are close by for anyone interested in antiques.
