Toppesfield Hall is a holiday retreat location set within 6 acres. There are 5 different holiday homes spread around the estate. The owners also live on site at the main hall next to the cottage. There are a number of facilities and services on-site and close by, including services for bike hire, or book a relaxing treatment to enjoy in the comfort of the Cottage. Just a short stroll across the field and you are in Toppesfield village where you can visit the local pub with its spacious outside garden. There is also a well-stocked shop/post office, brewery and a vineyard too! Head into Suffolk and you are soon in the heart of Constable Country. Here you will discover a wealth of pretty towns, villages and areas to explore including Lavenham and Dedham Vale, a celebrated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Seaside fans can head to the Essex coast and be in Walton-on-the-Naze in under an hour to explore its beach, pier and maritime museum. Closer still, head to Mersea Island and take in a lung full of sea air to work up an appetite and enjoy some seaside fare. Animal lovers of all ages will enjoy a visit to Boydells Farm or Colchester Zoo and shopaholics will be delighted to find themselves close to Freeport Braintree Designer Village. With Ipswich Marina and Bury St Edmunds within easy reach too, you will soon see why so many people enjoy holidays in this part of the world.

If you hop on a train in Braintree, you can even enjoy a day out in London, arriving there in less than an hour! Add in great walks and cycle routes and you will be so pleased you booked Toppesfield Hall and its private hot tub to relax and unwind in afterwards.

We do not market our cottage as accessible, as the bathroom is downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs.

A security deposit of £200 per week is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 14 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.
