Off-road parking is available on arrival, with a space next to the lodge making it easy to unload. Make your way through into the holiday home via the wraparound decking and into the open-plan living space which makes the perfect social hub; the space fit with a gas oven and hob, an array of cooking appliances, a dining area for planning your days out, and a sitting area to cosy up in front of the electric fire while you watch a film. From here, the bedrooms offer storage for your belongings and a place to rest your head; choose from a king-size with an en-suite shower room for extra privacy, or a twin, ideal for children. Completing the interior is a shared shower room with a walk-in shower and a toasty heated towel rail. When you're not enjoying setting on the decking in the warmer months, why not take advantage of the on-site amenities, such as the family games room, play areas, and restaurant, or perhaps make your way to the beach for a sunset stroll. There's so much to do on the site, you will be spoilt for choice; avid fishers of the group can spend a day with their rod in-hand, while swimmers lap about in the indoor heated swimming pool and the sporty family members enjoy a game of UK Footgolf and the little ones play in the parks. Mersea Island is one of the UK's most easterly islands. The island's biodiversity attracts hikers, birdwatchers, and watersports enthusiasts. The island's oysters may be bought from huts or savoured in local restaurants. It's about nine miles from Colchester, a magnificent town with a castle, museums, a zoo, superb sports and leisure facilities, a cinema, great shopping, and nice restaurants.
