Guests say

Longridge is a well-received cottage in a quiet, rural setting, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and beautiful garden with a hot tub. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings and the property's suitability for larger groups and families. The peaceful location is ideal for a relaxing getaway, with some local attractions and amenities a short drive away.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with several guests highlighting its spotlessness. However, a few remarks suggest room for improvement in housekeeping standards, particularly regarding a 'doggy' smelling vacuum and the need for cleaning supplies.

The cottage is situated in a quiet village, appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions like Mersea Island. The lack of nearby shops is noted, requiring reliance on cars, which slightly affects the convenience score.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the living spaces welcoming, with ample room for relaxation and family gatherings. The presence of a hot tub adds to the comfort and enjoyment of the property.

The property is equipped with necessary appliances and a hot tub, which guests love. However, there are suggestions for additional practical items like a mop, washing line, and cleaning products. The quick response from the owner to queries is a positive aspect.

While guests are generally pleased with the amenities and the welcome they receive, there is no mention of gifts in the reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness in terms of gifts, and the score is set to null.

I was very impressed with this home; the owner clearly looks after it. We found it very warm and welcoming; the owners have done a great job. I would revisit this in the future, I cannot think of anything negative to say. I would recommend, the furnishings were very well thought of and excellent taste. Well done!

Beautiful cottage. We stayed as 2 families. Plenty of space. Spotlessly clean. Lovely garden and nice pub a 1 minute walk away. Would highly recommend. Thanks for having us 😀

A fantastic property in a lovely village , shops are a drive away but it’s not something that bothered us too much , only thing I’d recommend is you need a sweeping brush or hoover or both available to keep the floors swept and cleaned especially when you have kids and dogs , apart from that we had a fantastic time
