Set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside surrounded by many picturesque villages and historical towns, Sudbury, Hadleigh, Kersey, Lavenham and Long Melford to name but a few. This semi-detached holiday cottage is furnished to a very good standard providing stylish bright and airy, spacious accommodation. Enjoy all the lovely rural walks directly from the property. Historic market towns of Diss and Bury St Edmunds within easy driving distance, as are Newmarket for the races and the city of Cambridge. Colchester, for its castle, zoo and good shopping is close by. Shop and pub 1¾ miles.

The Mount is an excellent base for exploring South Suffolk. The last house in a tiny hamlet, it is generally very quiet and peaceful. Everything you could need and more in a spacious property and having use of the large garden was a bonus in very hot weather. Water pressure is low on the shower but that is due to the location and was not a problem. Two issues to be aware of: no WiFi so make sure your credit is built up and beware some of the local drivers on the narrow roads. Only minor issues for what was an excellent holiday home. Close to main roads in all directions and lots of shops on Sudbury ten minutes away.Can definitely recommend.
