Whether you’re a beach lover, a nature enthusiast or just looking to unwind on a seaside escape, Coopers Beach, set on charming Mersea Island is the place to be when you really want to get away from it all.
Enjoy traditional seaside activities such as crabbing and fishing trips, head out on a countryside walk or take a trip to see views of the Blackwater Estuary and spot migrating birds. With all of this close by, you’ll love spending your days outdoors.
On park you’ll find facilities such as a choice of indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, adventure playground and multi-sports courts to keep the family entertained.
Please note: The main road to the island is covered with water at least once a day during high tide for an hour. Tide timetables are included in your welcome packs and are available at reception.
Please note, the outdoor pool is open between 24/05/19 - 02/09/19 although is weather dependant

When we arrived the caravan was dirty. We have a baby and therefore had to clean it before unpacked. The boiler was not working and we therefore did not have any hot water, we then established we actually didn’t have any gas at all as the cooker wasn’t working. To top it all off the radiator in the bathroom was rusty and cracked and therefore leaking water which got progressively worse throughout our stay. We constantly had to mop water up which was all over the kitchen part of the caravan by each morning. We will not be staying on this site again.
