The house was easy to find with excellent directions from the owner. The house is cosy and had everything we required for our stay.Beds were comfortable and lovely having en suite for both rooms. Had a fab garden centre down the road if you don't wish to cook. Would recommend and book again

We had a lovely week at Windhover. However I have given 4 stars because:The living area was tiny, much smaller than the pictures led us to believe. With two adults it's OK, but with 4, very cramped. On the plus side, the bedrooms were a good size and there was a bonus downstairs loo which we didn't expect. There was virtually no work space in the kitchen and the equipment was of the bare minimum. ( very few pans, no large serving or cooking dishes, blunt knives) For someone who likes to cook it was quite frustrating. The owner was friendly and welcoming. There were just the two of us but when I told him we had some friends joining us for a couple of nights he asked for extra money -£10 per night. We paid, but I'm not sure if he should have done this as we rented a 4 bed cottage.
