Lovely and clean lodge on a beautiful clean quiet site, room for two cars in a private space next to the lodge, an enclosed private garden which was great for our dog and to have a bbq. Two comfortable bedrooms and a well equiped kitchen which all was to a clean standard. Nothing in walking distance but lots around if you have a car it's only a 10 minute drive to a local supermarket and shops with buses that go to many places in the Lakes. There is a woodland route next to the site which is great for dog walks. All round a good place to stay.

Felt very at home straight away. Lovely decking area and little garden which our daughter loved. Only had a few issues. The bathrooms were dusty and a lot of hair in the drains. Also there was no normal drinking glasses, only wine and champagne mainly. Quite entertaining watching an 8 year old drink out of a martini glass. We would def stay again though and only needs a few tweeks and it would be fabulous.
