A lovely lodge, nicely laid out and exceedingly well equipped with plenty of everything needed for cooking and well stocked with games and books. Will definitely re-book.

We were immediately blown away when we first stepped into the lodge, the pictures looked lovely but everything looked even better in real life! We loved the speakers built into every room, the air fryer, the American fridge freezer, the view over the fields and how clean and spacious everything was. So many nice little touches that you don't get anywhere else we've stayed. I am very reluctant to leave such a glowing review, we selfishly want this place all to ourselves, we loved it so much we've booked to come back in a couple of months time, cancelling previous holiday plans and deciding to come back to the lakes again instead! We can't recommend this place enough and we will be back many times no doubt! Best UK holiday we've ever had!

It was amazing. Everything of high quality and a joy to be living in it. The sheep outside in the field gave us extra delight. It was convenient to get into Cockermouth for shopping and for visiting places. For us the settees were too low but we're not very able mobility wise. Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday thank you
