Completing the apartment are two well-appointed bedrooms with storage space, a king-size and a twin, served by a sleek family bathroom. In the morning, you'll find a patio area with outdoor seating to sip your coffee and plan the day's adventures. Cockermouth is a tiny market town in the northwestern Lake District, 13 miles from Keswick. The town is the birthplace of William Wordsworth and Fletcher Christian (of Mutiny on the Bounty fame), and Wordsworth's Georgian family home is a National Trust site. Cockermouth has several stores, taverns, and restaurants, but Bassenthwaite Lake, Ennerdale Water, and Derwent Water are the area's main attractions.
