We stayed at Hawthorne House as a family of 4 for a 3 day break. The house was perfect for our needs, really well situated for walking in the northern lakes, a stones throw from the A66 but really quiet. The parking space directly outside was a real bonus. The house had everything we needed with a well equipped kitchen, lovely shower with ample hot water (hairdryer also provided) and very comfy living space. A few essentials such as washing up liquid were provided which was much appreciated. We'd definitely stay here again.

A spotlessly clean, spacious property with a very well equipped kitchen. Accommodation is spread over 3 floors, and everywhere felt comfortable. Hot water was plentiful. The only downside to the property is that it is not 'accessible' for anyone who has mobilty issues.
