Located in the conservation area of Cockermouth, this is a spacious Georgian town house overlooking a cobbled, tree-lined street. The house is a real home from home situated in the perfect location for enjoying all that Cockermouth has to offer.
The property has been renovated and furnished to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation for five people. The owner has made sure that the property is well equipped throughout with thoughtful touches such as hair straighteners and hairdryers. Many of the rooms are light and airy benefiting from high ceilings and tall windows. There is a lovely patio area to the rear of the property.
The centre of Cockermouth is a short stroll down the street offering access to some fantastic independent shops, plenty of restaurants, cafe bars and with good public transport links. At the end of Kirkgate is an excellent pub complete with it’s own micro-brewery. Slightly further away is an award-winning vegetarian restaurant.
Cumbria's beautiful coastline is easily accessible from Cockermouth as are the quiet Western fells and the lakes of Buttermere, Loweswater and Crummock. You can enjoy peaceful walks and superb views in the Western fells whilst the coastline is a haven for wildlife and a great place for birdwatching.
