Heritage design features have been favoured in the restoration of this traditional Lakeland stone house, a wonderful place for any group of six to stay. If the unrivalled beauty within wasn’t enough, the countryside setting around this cottage is sure to take your breath away. The property sits beside the peak of Grasmoor and the beautiful lake that is Crummock Water, a marvellously positioned property for walkers of all abilities eager to soak up the unrivalled beauty of Cumbria’s famed National Park.
Take a peek inside to find handsome original beams, authentic exposed brickwork and a steep, spiral staircase that has stood the test of time within this two-storey accommodation. Providing an extremely inviting space to relax through winter stays, the lounge has been lovingly equipped with a warming wood burner and comfortable seating positioned around a Smart TV. You can settle down here after a meal prepared in the farmhouse-style kitchen and enjoyed together in the adjacent dining room. As night falls, head on up to find three beautiful bedrooms laid out on the first floor. Completing the accommodation’s offering is a generous allocation of garden space, set to lawn and providing dramatic Lakeland views that are best enjoyed with a morning coffee or evening tipple in hand.
Along with Crummock Water and Grasmoor (both less than 0.5 miles) providing ample opportunities for enjoyable walks, the position of this holiday home ensures you’ll never run low on enjoyable activities close by. Take a day trip to Keswick (11.5 miles) or Grasmere (25 miles) to frequent fascinating museums or heritage sites that are steeped in local history. Those visiting with children will love a day at the Lake District Wildlife Park (14 miles) or a visit to the coastal RSPB site of St Bees Head (19 miles).
