Gorgeous space and location for exploring the Lakes. Well equipped hut & lovely host Kate very helpful making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She also had plenty of advice about where to visit. The WiFi is nonexistent so a great opportunity to switch off. There is no garden as such but the hot tub, Netflix and stunning views enjoyed on outdoor sofas more than make up for it.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming Shepherds Hut! The location is absolutely ideal and just a short drive to Cockermouth; perfectly placed for exploring the Lake District. The views were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. A truly peaceful and picturesque setting. The hut itself was clean, tidy, and beautifully presented, with thoughtful little touches that made us feel really welcome - the freshly baked muffins were such a treat! Kate was friendly, approachable, and responsive from the moment we booked right through our stay, which made everything smooth and stres-free. One small suggestion that would have been helpful upon arrival would be the inclusion of toilet roll and hand wash, just for convenience. Overall, a lovely and memorable stay - highly recommended! Wed definitely come again!

Such a lovely stay at the Shepherds Hut! We were met on arrival by Kate who showed us around the hut and made us feel very welcome & was super helpful if we needed any help! The area was beautiful & so peaceful especially when relaxing in the hot tub. We will mis our neighbours the cows. Overall a fantastic trip & stay, we would definitely return! Thank you Kate x
