Overall the accommodation was really good as long as your legs are working and you’re reasonably fit - it’s a fair climb to some of the apartments. The location was great and the addition of books and maps available was a bonus. 😁

Centrally located, well equipped, clean. The stairs were no problem, although might be for those less mobile. The parking spot was close enough to not be inconvenient and you can see your car from the door of the flat. Regarding the flat itself I found the mattress too soft but that issue is down to personal preference. We stayed Monday to Friday and found the noise from two nearby bars a little much at times. Open mic seems to be all the rage across Keswick's bars at the moment. Unfortunately for us on Monday this spilled out onto Lake Road from The Pocket two doors down. Numerous people were being served alcohol and singing on the street until around midnight. They then went to a flat above Barua Street Food Cafe, which is opposite this apartment. The party went on until just after 3.00am and it was impossible to sleep until after that. The other three nights it calmed down by midnight. If you want an early night or are a light sleeper this flat might not be for you.
