Barleycorn enjoys a peaceful situation, a pleasant 5 minutes walk through Fitz Park to Keswick town centre and two minutes from the leisure pool.

This is our 5th time at Barleycorn. We love its position near the park and railway walk. Only 5minutes walk into Keswick for shops, market, pubs and coffee shops. The cottage has always been clean and comfortable. On cooler days it only takes 1/2 hour of the heating being on for it to be toasty warm. The garden is a sun trap on sunny days and watching the rabbits is great fun. We hope to be back next year.

We had a fab weeks holiday at Barleycorn Cottage.Great location only a 10 minutes walk into Keswick and close to all the attractions of the Northern Lake District..The accomodation itself was great.clean..modern..spacious and had everything you needed for the perfect getaway.Large cosy living area with a full kitchen and an amazing huge garden that got the sun most of the afternoon.Parking was a little tricky at times but no major problem.We would highly recommend this lovely place!!

We have enjoyed another relaxing stay at Barleycorn. It is in an excellent location adjacent to Fitz Park and a pleasant 10 minute walk into Keswick through the park.Jack our toy poodle enjoys the garden and his walks in Fitz Park. The accommodation is clean and well equipped and we will have no hesitation in booking again. For eateries we recommend the Pack Horse pub in Keswick and Wellington Farm on the outskirts of Cockermouth. Booking recommended for both places.
