This was our second visit we found it a comfortable place to stay but some minor issues prevent us from giving Bransty 5stars , on arrival it would be good if there was a basic welcome pack of milk, tea and bread, we discovered a lack of toilet paper and replacement black bin bags and finally basic condiments were not available.It is ideally placed for anyone visiting the Keswick Convention being only a short walk from the convention centre.

Old bathroom towels that don't dry you they're that old. Clean yes but that's not enough and we're only small big enough to wrap around a child not an adult.Beds uncomfortable. Can see where people have previously slept. Not good if you suffer with a back condition at all.Cleaning could be improved on especially on the outside. The wood on the lodge and the decking was all so dirty and full of cobwebs that looked to have been there years. Such a shame as the lodge and layout is very nice.Most of the other rental lodges on Burnside park off more including a welcome basket or freshly made cake etc.The lodge was lacking with information too of local places and eateries. There is a bus down the road but yet was no details of what bus goes where and when. Not everyone is fit enough to walk into town so this information is vital really.When you pay £840 for 7 nights you expect more cleanliness and comforts. Little gestures also go a long way.
