Been to this site around 12 times over the years, this cabin is one of the newer one's on the site, found it to be light and clean with some nice views of the surrounding country side, the site it self is quiet which suits us well.We would definitely book this cabin again hopefully later this year or next year.

We have been twice at Burn side park it’s quite and the views are beautiful and it was a nice walk into Keswick with plenty of shops and restaurants we did enjoy will be back

Great chalet in a perfect location just outside Keswick. We were able to leave the car most days and walk into town to catch boats and buses to and from our walks. We were even able to walk from the chalet up Skiddaw and back. We can recommend The Pheasant pub for drinks and food as well as the Filling Station cafe for breakfast - both are just up the road. The walk into town via Fitz Park and Knights Bridge is lovely.The Chalet is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. However, it is let down by the supplied internet connection. This relies on a mobile Vodafone router with a SIM card but the Vodafone signal in the area is just not reliable - not the owners' fault but the TV only works with a data connection so is useless a lot of the time. A DVD player and a few DVD's would help but, without that, make sure you bring a book! Note to the owner: check out the instructions under the router battery for accessing the settings - you can then make the network name and password more user-friendly!
