Fully refurbished and extended in early 2025 With the benefit of fell views, a large south facing private garden with sunny aspect, private parking and ample storage for bikes etc, Causey View is an excellent base for exploring the area on foot, Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac of similar properties on the northern edge of Keswick and within 8 minutes level walk of the town centre, this two bedroom bungalow has great facilities, including fully equipped new modern kitchen and bathroom, Wi-Fi and BT TV.

We booked Causey View specifically because it was advertised as having an EV charging point. It turned out this was actually an outdoor 3 pin socket. While technically this would allow charging of an EV (if you have a 3 pin charging cable) it’s not really an EV charging point (if it were, all properties would be able to claim they have one). And charging an EV on a 3 pin cable is not generally recommended, is not particularly safe, and is not a practical proposition when it takes 30+ hours to fully charge your EV this way. So in my opinion the description is misleading. That said, the property was well presented and is very comfortable.

An absolutely brilliant week in the loveliest cottage. There were no faults at all. Very clean and modern, but very cosy and homely too. A lovely garden to sit out in the cold morning with a cuppa too. We visited for Christmas (just the two of us) and it was very well equipped, with everything we needed. Being able to charge our car too was an added bonus. The bed was super comfy, we slept too well. I need to know where those pillows are from! We will be back and will recommend to our friends and family (the only downside is that dogs aren't allowed, otherwise we'd be back in a heartbeat with my parents (and their little dog).
